To me, you are glorious perfection
Bright eyes in heaven are envious of my infinite love for you
The stars will never twinkle the way you do
You're like an angel trying to hide in night's cloak
Your beauty is like a vast shore or a winged bird
My love for you is as boundless as the farthest sea
Or the distance from my window to the moon
Whose light is quickly yielding sweet repose
When I gaze upon your face, my heart sings
I long for your soft touch upon my cheek
And now I wonder...
Could someone like you ever love someone like me?

English project. We had to write a romantic poem using 25 out of 35 words that we were given. And people have liked it so I decided to put it on here.

I do though. I know the poem isn't actually directed at anyone, but I have to put that out there.

Prick your finger it is done, the moon has now eclipsed the sun, the angel has spread its wings, the time has come for bitter things
